取締役社長　　吉田　忠彦 　（株）ニッポンリターダシステムは、平成元年（1989年）ドイツVOITH社と日本のエクセディ社との合弁会社として設立され、製造についてはエクセディ社に委託すると同時に、流体式リターダの販売・サービス業務に従事してまいりました。現在、建設機械及び大型トラック分野にて弊社のリターダをご愛顧いただいております。 　欧州では、トラック・バスに流体式リターダが広く普及しております。アウトバーンでの高速走行、市バスのような頻度の多いブレーキングで、補助ブレーキとしての流体式リターダが強いブレーキ力と認められた結果であります。 　日本のお客様への私どものリターダの普及は拡大しつつありますが、これは、日本でも環境への配慮が求められエンジンの高過給化・低ギアレシオ化により、補助ブレーキの必要性が一段と高まって行く事をあらわしております。 　私どもは、車両の進化に対応しお客様のひとつひとつのニーズにお応えして参る所存でございます。なにとぞ、皆様方のご指導、ご支援を賜ります様お願い申し上げます。 取締役副社長　　フィンフリード ・ ドレスラー Nippon Retarder System Co., Ltd. was established as joint-venture of German Voith and Japanese Exedy in 1989 and has been engaged in the sales and technical services of the hydrodynamic retarder as well as the manufacturing being entrusted to Exedy. Presently, the products are being distributed mainly to the customers of construction machine and truck manufacturing field. In European countries, the hydrodynamic retarder is widely penetrating to the trucks and busses. This results from the fact that the hydrodynamic retarder as an auxiliary braking system has been recognized with its strong braking force in the high speed driving at the autobahn and in the frequent use of the braking like the city busses. The increased number of applications of our retarder to Japanese customers proves that in Japan the necessity of the auxiliary braking system will be further accelerated with the appearance of the vehicle on the super charge engine and the low gear ratio taking the protection of the environment into consideration.
